Some people had told me before that the Connemara National Park was one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland – check! Almost no one on the roads and a lot of nature and sheep just for us. Mountains, lakes and roads that never end.
We had planned to stop at the fantastic Kylemore Abbey and so it was. A lot of people but you quickly find out why. It’s a small (huge!) treasure in the middle of nowhere with great gardens.
It was a long day driving around until we arrived in Galway where we spent the night. We checked in, parked the car and tried to enjoy the last hours of daylight. Despite not having any photos, this city was one of our favorites.
