As you may know, Cape Verde isn’t the richest island in the world but just if you’re talking about money. People are poor but believe me when I say that they are truly happy. You can find people singing, playing, smiling, talking in any corner, I don’t know if it’s the good weather, the sea, the food or the music but the vibes on the island are great!
Curious fact: Boa Vista has sooooo many stray cats. For real, this island could be named Cats Everywhere Island. Was weird for us to see all this scenario but they look happy without any owner and no one hurts them, so it’s ok.
